The recipe below has certain ingredients like coconut oil that has essential fatty acids which is good for the brain and central nervous system.

Other ingredients such as cayenne and black pepper assist with neurological inflammation.

Cilantro and basil aid in the digestive process for the gut.

Follow the healthy recipe for the brain  below:


½ cup regular coconut milk and ½ cup water OR 1 cup lite coconut milk

3 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro or basil

2 tbsp. lemon juice

1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (use more if desired)

Salt and pepper to taste

4 skinless chicken breast halves

Mix the coconut milk and water and pour it into a bowl with the cilantro or basil, lemon juice, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

Pour this mixture over the breasts, turning them over several times to coat both sides. Set them in a dish, and refrigerate for 2-8 hours.

Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking.  Heat grill and add chicken.  Grill for about 8 minutes on each side. Serve Immediately.
